Assalam-0-Alekum and Welcome to Tech Urdu! Facebook Is Testing 14-Day Expiry for Pending Friend Requests. As discovered in the Facebook Android app, the social media giant is looking to curb one of the most painful problems for the user, i.e pending friend requests.

The company is testing a 14-day expiry deadline for friend requests, which means you’d only have two weeks to decide whether you want to accept or decline the request. Facebook now shows an ‘x number of days to respond’ tag under each profile to remind you of the time you have left to make the decision.

This feature is currently under testing and will greatly help users declutter their friend request pane once it rolls out globally. - Beebom
